Pears are particularly good for helping with flu symptoms of a sore throat and fever. And because pears take longer to digest than apples, it’s the perfect fruit to eat for a between-meal snack. You will feel full longer.
For your fall cough ~ Recipe:
Into 3 cups of water, place one pear, cut into thin slices
4-5 sliced almonds
peel of 1 tangerine
Simmer for 15 minutes.
Remove tangerine rind then enjoy. Make and use daily until your cough subsides.
